Takes up less space while providing more information, imo.
Sure you can argue it's less fancy, but I really like overlays that don't take up a ton of visual space just for the sake of it.
The actual content worth watching is under it, so it should get out of the way.
Also, fading/scrolling text or extra center boxes would be way more distracting than a box that's in the corner and static 99% of the time.

Skyrim is one of the worst games they could have picked with how fiddly mods are with it
Hope they bring it back but I'm not sure what game would work well with it, any other game that gets as heavily modded as Skyrim does will have the same issues

main reason as far as i remember. this was used before NCG graphics too, it was a TFTV EU thing pretty early on.
opinions are torn over keeping this kind of layout or going back to something like the screenshot.

Really great working with those two, helped point out a couple bugs/inconsistencies and requested some good new features.
For those interested in the technical side I believe this is also the first broadcast of NodeCG graphics rendered in CasparCG, rather than OBS Browser Source that we're used to. WHICH IS EXCITING, CASPAR IS USED IN A LOT OF PLACES! :)))
