#63 stream highlights in Videos

so here, i'm working on a script that'll download the full vod and rip out the highlight when you give it a highlight url

still playing with quality settings, how does this look: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6635591/1707739.flv
it's the raysfire highlight on the last page if you want to compare

#49 stream highlights in Videos

snip nvm thought I had it but my method downloads the full vod apparently, not just the highlight :(

What they're doing now is, instead of keeping a flv file for every highlight, they now just load the full vod's flv, skip to where the highlight starts, and don't load any more past where the highlight ends

#5 TF2 Windowed Location in Q/A Help

Don't see why not, I'll give it a try later and let you know Madoff

Edit: It works, but with these caveats. The origin 0,0 will always be the top-left corner of your primary monitor, and it doesn't accept negative values. That means your second monitor cannot be left of, or above, your primary monitor. If I try to use a negative y, since my second monitor is slightly higher than my primary, it goes back to the center-of-primary-screen approach and looks like this http://i.imgur.com/8Jd6X.jpg

-x <number> and -y <number> in launch options will position it. X is how many pixels from the left of your screen, Y is how many from the top, so 0 and 0 would put it in the top left corner.

#5 The Leatrix Latency Fix for better latency in TF2 in Off Topic
wareyadoesn't help tf2 because tf2 uses udp, not tcp

Was just about to post this. Only thing TF2 uses TCP for is RCON afaik.

#3 1080p 30fps vs 720p 60fps in TF2 General Discussion

720p60

Mainly because I prefer the smoothness, technically because my screen is 768px high

heinIts not with everything. I still see everything else perfectly fine.

Doesn't matter. Your vision is blurry at times, go see a doctor.

#2 viewmodels off in Q/A Help

Easiest way would be using this site to create a config for you: http://clugu.com/tf2mate/

class & weapons section is near the bottom. can be unique for each class, so scout only shows melee, but soldier could show melee + shotgun for example

you'll want to pay attention to the other options too, to make sure you don't enable/disable something by accident
