title :P
The fact that its overall balance is all over the place: there are so many unlocks either too situational, underpowered, overpowered, broken or unnecessary, and only handful of unlocks are fine.
Hearing the melee hitsound but not actually hitting anyone
Having to wait for that sweet spot in the evening when both you and your friends are online so TF2 is actually worth playing for a short amount of time. TF2 often doesn't feel worth playing during the other 22 hours in the day for me
Casual play -- find & join server -- final cap ends match before I can pick a class -- search again -- repeat process
i hate that no matter what i do i will never get to play the beautiful version that i see on people's streams, because i only own a laptop. often snipers disappear into the haze of pixels that represents snakewater bats, or badlands balcony, or china. usually they kill me
I can't really say there's anything I hate about TF2. The lack of dev/Valve support grinds my gears, but that's on those entities, not the game itself.
I'm just sad I wasn't around when this game came out. There are so many neat stories and personalities I've missed out on just based on when I discovered this game.

the game would be 10x more fun without pyros and sentries.
i have faith that pyro can theoretically be fixed to the point where it's no longer aids to play against
what makes tf2 great for me is the sense of personal agency, that like every death/frag/whatever I could've done something different (dodged the rocket better, pushed him when he was reloading etc.). I don't really get that feeling when I play against sniper though, just something about the one class that can sit as far back as possible on the map and dodge the fray just kinda irks me.
on the other hand though I like watching players like sheep and jukebox (though I imagine it'd be aids to play against them) rattle off 150 headshots like it's nothing. Maybe I just hate it when snipers hold an angle that you eventually have to cross with a full charge and you're just like "well shit better pray I get good rng and they miss or tf2 hitboxes save me"

The people that treat weeaboos like they are black people living in segregated America in the 50s

Valve's balancing decisions of the game

oh also every update that lowers the skill ceiling of med, like scout speed buff, regen buffs etc.
valve just needs to accept that people ain't gonna play med in pubs regardless lol, those buffs don't change much (and i still don't get healed as scout in pubs ...)

pyro, engie, heavy, spy
have to actively avoid a lot of players in pugchamp for an enjoyable experience
the community leader is an asshole
demo nerf
medic buffs (xbow, scout speed)
cow mangler is basically a direct upgrade
ping advantage
most jumping is wallpogo
random crits in pubs
melee reg
almost everyone good I meet is under 18
basically no support for competitive scene
tf2 comp is on life support
have to play in esea to achieve anything meaningful
esea servers, although they are a lot better now
ultiduo
still the best game ive played
