net graph shows incorrect ping number

in net graph panel it shows i have 100 ping but on scoreboard shows 90, what is a true number and how to fix this?

your net graph should be your true ping number, don't rely on the scoreboard. the scoreboard is average ping number over a period of time, not a real time ping number
