5 ½ men are currently looking for a starting roamer for UGC Silver Season 12.
We have 5 players returning from our 2nd place season in steel
and we're looking to fill in the gaps in order to have another competitive season. For the record, the focus is heading into open in the fall and we want to use this season to fine tune our team and sharpen up our skills for open. Anyone willing to commit more then one season definitely receives brownie points xD
Previous experiences in competitive 6's would also be great since we're not interested in teaching the basics but are more focused on learning meta-game and improving team chemistry/awareness. While we won't be very scrim heavy this season, we will be reviewing demos pretty heavily to improve our understanding of competitive TF2.
About you:
Solid DM is always nice but it comes naturally throughout the season, so it's not essential. We're more concerned about your willingness to learn current tf2 metas and work towards improving our own over the course of the season. We want someone who is willing to spend as much time watching demos as you would grinding it out in mge.
Time wise, we're going to look to scrim 2-3 nights a week and we're pretty flexible. We have lives. NO WEEKENDS. Scrims are usually from 8 EST - 10/10:30 EST.
Just as a heads up, we will not be scrimming the maplist provided by UGC this season. Instead we will be utilizing the ESEA maplist in order to scrim open level teams, although we'll probably still have a few UGC teams to scrim here and there. Bite the pillow, we're going in dry.
On a final note, the only reason we didn't skip into open this season is because it's the summer and half of our team is visiting China :(
