Not sure if this has been made a thread before, but who's your favourite core of players who've played multiple seasons together to watch, cheer on and wish to play like one day? For me it's the broder guys, with a special mention to i55 nerdRage. Mirelin and zebbosai made me wanna play the game more than anyone else. My parameters for what makes a 'core' and what makes them your 'favourite' is fairly loose.
Classic Mixup. More specifically, Platinum and enigma who were on every iteration from the team's debut S9 to the finale in S17. They were the two names always representing mix^, always contesting b4nny's team. Of course they featured other stalwarts like harbleu, TLR, and A_Seagull across that stretch but yeah. Whether it's gameplay / skill, leadership, and maintaining a roster over a long period of time, Plat and enigma were standouts.
blaze+b4nny soldiers back when soldiers mattered. so fun
i used to watch hrg play and listen to their coms and think that both goofing off with your boys and winning tf2 were simultaneously possible
that whole team was an enigma, especially to win two back to back seasons the way they operated
ill still occasionally call metal's left main "tank" or "dick" just to see if anyone catches on

deadbolt paragon grape were the most consistent 20b i think?
twin brother scout duo with inverted unusuals was so hype and grape was a beast

hamahammak + doughy <33333
neither one of them like each the other as a team's core lol

Paprika_tek bulle flippy
this - tek particularly made me interested in playing soldier in 6s, he has such a chad playstyle
others would be teams with stark and hafficool as well as the nyk and robin duo

I gotta say 7s core of kaidus, raymon and thalash (starkie as well but wasn't on every iteration) has gotta be one of my favorites because it was awesome to see one core group of players reform every year and play so we'll together that they actually gave b4nny a run for his money every time. The other teams like nerdrage and full tilt were perhaps more fun to watch because they played so aggressively but I don't think any team stuck together as long or had such a definitive playstyle (albeit a tad slower than my personal liking, it won games). Epsilon was sort of before my time but I'm sure that core group of players had a similar appeal. I think 7 have a special place in my heart though just seeing them at all the iseries lans as well as the two rewinds, their grand finals were some of the craziest games I've seen and watching raymon and thalash play together is definitely a big inspiration to me. The old core of shade, blaze and b4nny was also obviously a huge inspiration as well but I feel like 7 probably takes the cake for 'favorite' just cause they were always the underdogs.
I really enjoyed playing with my boys on velocity and I feel like we kept a good core of people and improved together, but ultimately never really were able to break the 4th place curse which was a shame. Trip, sigh and I have stuck together from the Ford iterations to this season on MAL so that's been nice, always good to keep the calling and playstyles that you've developed and have them carry over without having to start over from scratch with a brand new team.

bearodactylI gotta say 7s core of kaidus, raymon and thalash (starkie as well but wasn't on every iteration)
Raymon wasn't on all the iterations of the team any more than stark was tho... Respect permzilla.

cre-8Scratchh and hhhwrd before scratchh got banned until December of this year
Thank you for the input cre-8 but unfortunately I only played 1 season with howard
I guess this is sort of cringe, but my own team was very successful in a short amount of time. It included a core of me, cember, ekh0, and shuckle. We played together since season 29 of ESEA onwards, and I am really really happy that I decided playing with these 3 as they are all very gifted mechanically and we all took the time to grind the game and get better quick. We went from mid open to low invite(before I got banned lol!!!) in 5 seasons and I'm extremely grateful for it. also shout out to safrix and squidie for also playing multiple seasons with our core
I highly recommend for newer players to stay with the same people for multiple seasons. I would not be as good as I am without these 3 and it helps more than you would think when it comes to improvement.
If I had to pick another team of people other than froyotech I would say old/new velocity or atleast that general group. skye/shamoo/hayes/rekuso and anyone else I missed they have played together for awhile and are all cool ppl

NA - b4nny + blaze + clockwork
EU - KnOxXx + Mike + numlocked, or kaidus + kaptain + starkie

Yuki, aporia and sheep were the staples of top-level Aus for so long - even if every game (minus i-series) I was rooting against them - still, a great core lineup that made me want to play the game more
