So I don't mean to sound like I'm just bitching here, sorry, but i'm trying to introduce an entire team of friends that are really interested in 6's and fascinated by the community culture, we vod review and stuff and don't really mess around anymore. It's gotten really promising over the course of a few months and I really like the potential we have...
But a lot of the people that we get scrims with consistently if they win 1 mid and roll 1 round they start fucking around, sticky jumper, force a nature, perma kritzkreig, why don't these people just leave? Like I want to get a lot better at what 6's is not just DM and actually be proud of all the time i've invested but if this just keeps happening and happening what am I, or even we, supposed to do? Half the teams we used to play don't even exist anymore. Is this the effect of playoffs or something? This doesn't happen in any other competitive game i've played.

So yeah during playoffs/off seasons a lot of teams die in TF2. It is extremely rare for a team to last more than 2 seasons or so. So if you are not in playoffs its roster shuffle time along with fuck around time. As for how to avoid it? Unfortunately unless you find teams you can be consistent scrim partners with it can be a roll of the dice at times.
My advice is just to not worry about it too much as it happens to everyone, and if you can just play the game. There are always things you can work on as a team irregardless of if the other team is playing "proper" or not. Work on pushes or positioning or bombs or taking map control or something. Very rarely is there nothing that can be done and the scrim is a total waste of time.

If people are fucking around and beating you then that's on you.
Work hard and get good enough to force them to try.

After they start we usually start capping points and winning and they continue their tomfuckery until the block is over. Lol. Idk man.

If you're scrimming playoff teams this shouldn't be happening. If you're scrimming offseason/pug teams then it's a lot more common since most teams die/lose players in offseason.

if a team is trolling and still beating you it's not really "on you" your team is just scrimming a team that you probably shouldn't be scrimming

probably best way to negate this is to find either scrimming partners that you can count on dedicated weeklies with, or start noticing certain team leaders that do these strats and start kind of "black listing" them i guess, so you kind of limit yourself on what teams you fight
granted, if you're getting rolled by perma kritz and offclassing you just need to start working on grinding and getting to the point where teams have to start taking you seriously

people dont feel good about a 5 minute 5-0 and want to drag the game out as long as possible, hence why they start bming and offclassing. your only real two options is to either not scrim them again or find a way to beat them.

two possibilities:
1. you're scrimming retards and just don't scrim them again
2. you're scrimming teams that are too good for your current skill level and they aren't getting anything from it and trolling to at least have more fun
solution in both of these situations is to just find different scrim partners

its because a lot of teams dont scrim to get better they only scrim to play, if they arent having fun then they troll.
and a lot of teams dont know how to improve even though they are winning/rolling, they just play standard and waste time instead of trying new strats "pushing under different circumstances", from weird spots, players down, dissadd, and working on comms.
