Congratulations to season two's winner Big Chungus Gaming TV
This Friday I'll be casting some Newcomer teams: verve (1-0) vs. C-SPAN (1-0). While I don't know much about these teams (I believe C-SPAN is one of our fabulous teams from the Newbie Mix Team Drive), they're both coming off of clean 5-0 victories during week 1 and now they'll be in the spotlight on Sunshine. Catch the action at 9:30 EST.

More Newcomer coverage? Hell yeah brother. Tonight at 9:30 EST we have another Newbie Mix Team Drive Team in verum (0-1) going up against Ice Cream Technology (0-1). Even though again, there's not much info I know about these gamers that doesn't mean there won't be exciting TF2 to watch. I will likely be joined by fleskore, the coach for verum in the booth. It was great to have Jaguar provide insight on his team last night and I'll try to make this the standard if and when I continue to cast Newbie Mix Team Drive teams in the future. Here's to a good one.

Sweaty Spaghetti in Newcomer is dangerous, you heard it here first
Playermovement (a newbie mix team drive team) legit demoted me from main demo to a sub and I left their team. Imma wait for season 4 now

Reflect on why you think your team moved you to sub (no need to share why here) and try to make adjustments for next season. You guys did well this season! Keep your momentum going with an amateur team next go-around.

As the rest of the league continues to wrap up their final regular season matches, BLANCTV will do the same but not before providing some more Newcomer action as Mann Fried Eggs (4-3) battle Chungening (4-3) at 10:30 EST. As you can see, both teams sit at an identical 4-3 record with the last match hanging in the balance. Currently, Mann Fried Eggs sits at 15th seed, barely making the playoff cut. Meanwhile Chungening is on the outside looking in, but a win should in all likelihood push them into playoffs. Not entirely sure what the scenario is for Mann Fried Eggs should they lose, but either way both teams definitely have something to play for. Should be exciting.

Amateur playoffs kick off tomorrow night at 9:30 EST, with #8 Go Raw, Organic Granola Bars! (6-2) hosting #9 The Moviegoers (5-3). As the closest possible matchup between seeds, this should be an exciting set. Further backing that statement is their regular season matchup, in which the Organic Granola Bars squad took a 4-3 Clearcut victory, which ended up being the difference in these two teams' records at the end of the day. While no KOTH will be played, I still expect a lot of back-and-forth in this one.

BLANCTV is back with more Amateur playoffs tonight: #4 BattleScarred-Idiots vs. #5 Antihero Collective. Both teams went 6-2 during the regular season, with Anithero Collective losing a super close 4-3 Snakewater match against Fist'n'Feast, the #1 seed and only undefeated team in the division. Hopefully we'll have something equally as exciting as last week's Amateur broadcast, though that is certainly a lot of hype to live up to.

Kinda sad not seeing posts in this thread but I have zero shame so I'm gonna continue. #4 C-SPAN are going up against #12 Bada Bing as July comes to a close. We watched C-SPAN earlier this season, as one of the wonderful Newbie Mix Team Drive teams. They've had an excellent season making it all the way to playoffs 6-2 as the 4th seed (albeit with some roster shakeups). Bada Bing also had quite a solid showing, with a 5-3 record. The difference in their records came their week 7 matchup on Viaduct, which ended in a 4-3 victory for C-SPAN. Looking forward to seeing how C-SPAN have grown, having to say some silly aliases, and no KOTH maps. It all starts at 9:30 EST tonight.

The Newcomer division has one more semifinal to play out and you'll be watching #2 zxcv host #6 Ice Cream Technology at 9:30 EST. These teams met at the very beginning of Season 3, with zxcv defeating ICT by the score of 5-1 on Gullywash. Both squads have grown considerably since then, and we'll find out who will earn their spot in grand finals against the #1 seed Sweaty Spaghetti.
