It's remarkable how much cleaner and stylish this game was before valve spent a decade adding sprinkles to a cake they'd made perfectly the first time. The whole presentation of TF2 is so fucking LOUD now: The UI, the hats, the annoying looping taunts, the sheer density of audiovisual clutter is astounding. I miss the TF2 of 2007-2009 a lot, and it's actually weirdly heartwarming to see some people are still playing and enjoying a version of the game with the original style intact.
My father would wreck everyone on xbox. Sadly he cant use a pc in the gaming form for shit.

I used to play with these people years ago. Funny thing is that the game is still somewhat active since it runs on the newer consoles due backwards compatibility.

im a bit sad i never got to play then, because it feels pretty cool today. when i am a bit tired i turn off the sound and put on nohats mod and it gives some cozy vibes

Forget the kill notices, I'm still mad they got rid of these viewmodels and that the lighting in this version of TF2 looks so much better than on high settings in modern TF2. Granary and dustbowl looking amazing.
