ignore cause apparently it was unneeded and unappreciated.

The guide has nothing to do with the game changing in a meaningful way and even if it did, the things I have mentioned would still be relevant and the section that has to do with game specific tweaks is relatively short. What Ive wanted to do is compile all the useful stuff including windows tweaks that I have found and not just surface level things in one place. But do try these things if you want to test and see if they are helpful for you.

Couldn't be bothered to do the more in-depth tweaks but disabling core 0 for tf2 gave me a noticeable fps boost (from 180 to 193 on benchmark1). Worth noting that I ran the tests the with a bunch of shit open in the background (~10 browser tabs, discord, spotify etc), i.e. the way a person normally uses their PC, and not with everything closed and only tf2 running

Give Opera GX a try: https://www.opera.com/gx
It does let you restrict, network and RAM usage, if chrome is hogging too much ram for you. Most chrome extensions should work fine. The pugchamp helper and dark reader did not work ( gx has its own dark page forcing feature ).
