As someone with 1000+ hours in tf2, i know how to rocketjump...but after switching to TF2 linux (yes i know, windows is better, but i have a vested interest in playing on linux), after the last update (not steampipe) when I'm moving forward and fire a rocket at the ground, or when i crouchjump and fire a rocket at the ground, the rocket wont fire, i've only been able to do bad vertical jumps since. Anyone else have the problem? any suggestions OTHER than switching to windows?

yeah linux "fixs" the jumping mechanics. the air control in windows is seen as a exploit by the dev team.

ErenJaydisable raw mouse input

Why????

Depends on your desktop environment as far as I can tell. Simply switching to full screen worked for me in xfce4.

I know this is really old, but I had the same issue until I thought to switch back to Wayland instead of X11 a few days ago. That fixed it for me. It also stopped the mouse1 or mouse2 command from being held down. It would make me shoot constantly until I pressed it again.

You're fine; you just took a break, so this is to be expected. You'll readjust fast enough. I experience the same pattern in gameplay everytime I take breaks and so do others.

And no Linux is not making you play worse; you simply haven't adjusted yet. Also why and how exactly is windows superior to linux?

Wait... OMG I FINALLY GOT UNBANNED!
