he was a great caster and entertainer. he was a major component of that iseries LAN he did and made the whole thing significantly better to watch. he just literally gets a lotta shit for having a large forehead

I took the bait a lot starting out here, so it became easy up-frags to hate on me. It doesn't bother me much anymore, you learn to deal with it.
I speak nothing of my own achievements, and sorry for causing this discussion to veer off. Don't think of me - think of all the best people this game has ever had. We tried real hard, with real tangible communication to Valve for years. "The Letter" from the community which was a big deal at the time. We did Fully Charged for the longest time with enigma and whatnot. Documentaries, we had Jill on our friends list and shit, guys like vnn went and got to speak to guys like Dave Riller, endless Valve visits from Dane, sigafoo, b4nny, whoever. We fought real hard too - the Extines and Langes. That was my only point. Many people stuck around a LONG time waiting for movement. I think for many of us who have been around a long time, we see this less optimistically and more realistically 6 years later. Not that we want to, but you start to grow that acceptance after a while - at least in my experience.
I'm glad there's interest. I played this game the better part of 13 years. I'm sure we enjoy it just the same. I just don't want to be here in 2032 seeing the same hashtag, you know?

The #savetf2 thing got me to play the game again... Even if it doesn't save tf2, it might bring some new people in, or remind old gamers that the game still exists.

Maybe I’ve just been lucky, but I’ve been joining a lot of casual matches with no bots / none joining during, or once in a blue moon we get 1 bot joining and it just instantly gets kicked. It’s been this way for me since last week.
