I have made an excel spreadsheet to see who is playing on what team and who to contact
This could help in organising scrims or finding team captains to talk amongst other things
DM Rahmed#1191 your:
- Team page
- Team roster (pocket scout, flank scout, pocket, roamer, demo, med in that order please)
- Contact info
- Server preference
This is for EU, NA, Asia and Ozfortress teams (can also do SA teams if the demand is there)

what is the reason to use this over going to etf2l which is the exact same but also auto updates and doesnt require everyone to dm you?

easier to find and dm people for scrims/officials mostly
for the higher divs it won't be as useful since everyone knows each other
but it's also useful to see who's playing what altogether

click one of these buttons. all teams are listed (no dming required). click the teams and add their leader! if their roster changes or a team drops or adds to the season, it will update on etf2l (no dming required).
if you want to scrim randoms or mixes on short notice you can use the etf2l discord here: https://discord.gg/gr2pbaTGR8

auto updates? explain to a ameripoor like me
if it isn't clear from later posts, he means the fact that simply using the etf2l website to find teams to scrim means you don't have to worry nearly as much about it being updated since etf2l team pages (especially ones actively competing in a season) are much more likely to be currently relevant than a google doc that you have to dm rahmed to get sorted/updated with your team info, and you're relying on everyone doing that.
i also do not really see the point of this endeavour by rahmed except that it gives you people's discords? but if teams wanted you to contact them through discord they could put it on their team profile.
there's also the etf2l discord like bum pointed out which is generally the easiest way to find quick scrims.

i respect how ridiculously keen you are to do stuff rahmed but i feel you get over ur head a bit sometimes lol. like if this was actually going to function with all the teams in the main tiers of etf2l that would take quite a bit of work from you to keep updated and unrealistically coordinated effort from the community too... and for what purpose lol?

Allow me to frame it like this, as a certified Rahmed Interpreter.
Rahmed is eccentric and plays in multiple regions, cares a lot about the game
Rahmed wants you to play in or know about teams and players from multiple regions, and tries to get a project going to list this all in one centralized place
Note the line "This is for EU, NA, Asia and Ozfortress teams (can also do SA teams if the demand is there)"
The hypothetical reason to use this over etf2l is because this isn't just about etf2l
It is important to note that division spreadsheets are not an uncommon practice from higher division to division in na or eu, atleast with hl as an example
Now I'm not saying that this is going to be a project of any significance nor is it a realistic venture per se; but I'd prefer to give my brother the benefit of the doubt here.
As someone who has played in multiple regions, I'd find it interesting to think about and it isn't really hurting anyone by it's existence. I do think it's a bit unrealistic to expect this to have that much impact or need for existence, but imo the best results come from people who are willing to invest a large amount of time into things without much gain in sight. More interest and awareness across regions is never a bad thing, and it's something that might only come meaningfully from such people who don't really care about practical returns. I mean the man has spent half his life force on pugs ffs.
Yeah the man is over his head tho, you're on planet Rahmed now. you gotta assume that he kinda knows that himself when coming into this i'd think. don't know what sort of eldritch sorcery he has planned to force people to cooperate with him on it tho.

rahmed can you do a spreadsheet of everyones pre-season scrim results and trials, that one would actually be funny to see develop over time as people trial and get picked up (maybe just for the top divs tho!)
aelkyr used to do one of these for prem until the frenchies found out how to shitpost in it

i believe rahmed can bring back team elo leaderboards. no need to code it, he'll search for, log and calculate the elo conversion of every result himself before manually inputting it.

I just wanna schedule scrims in advance easier and see who's playing with who across the globe
It's not that deep lol - if you guys want to use it then be my guest
Also if you want to make my life easier then sure DM me but I think it looks cool to just to see a list of people playing currently
