TF2 Coaching Central is back with the eighth iteration of our North American Newbie 6s Cup, a learning experience and friendly competition for people who are new to competitive 6v6.
This month, players with no to minimal competitive experience will sign up to be placed on a team of six, led by coaches who will teach the basics of how to play the 6v6 format and help you learn the maps. Teams have three weeks to learn and train together before facing off in a tournament, brought to you by our casting partner Fireside Casts, with a prize pool of 18 keys for the winners and runners up.
Our Newbie Cup events are a great starting point for anyone interested in trying out competitive 6s for the first time or looking to make their RGL newcomer/amateur debut in season 16, as well as an opportunity for more experienced players to help foster the future of the competitive scene by teaching newbies. We're currently taking signups for participants and team coaches! Tell your friends!

We're still looking for more coaches! We have enough hungry players for 24+ teams! If you are interested or know anyone that is eligible tell them to apply ASAP!
This is a great opportunity to test yourself and get an ego boost from teaching little nooblets, on-top of that coaches who do well will get a portion of the prize (even if their team doesn't win) and extra(s) if they get nominated by their team!
