if this doesn't help you, please say why first. There is no objectively best headset.

why don't you try a little harder next time to find your own answers from the resources already available to you
I heard that it's cheaper and better to buy a headset and microphone seperately then connect them together with zip ties or something.
i heard its best to expect everybody else on the internet to do your job for you then ignore them anyways
headsets are crap, best way to do it nowadays---> nice audiophile headphones + clip on mic or desk mic
when you have a certain price range its best just to research as much as possible...read reviews of certain products, look up videos, look at the pro's and con's, just have to be a smart consumer about it, you'll end up finding something you really like + it will last long if its not some random gaming headset <---which usually has poor build quality

!!!! I remember that one thread I read on TF.TV of that guy asking for advises, he got pretty good suggestions. Then he replied a couple days later and said, thanks for all the help guys, I got that other thing anyway (he still went with what he was planning to buy before starting the thread)...

Marketing can be a lot more powerful than word of mouth of experienced users sometimes, unfortunate but its true.
People sometimes seem to want to spend money on the idea of what they are getting.

Do yourself a favor and buy nice headphones and a microphone.
save up a few more bucks and get either AKGs, Audio-Technicas, Beyerdynamics, Denons or any other equivalent audiophile headphones

I've always been a fan of Sennheiser the old ones from my dad lasted for well over ten years, and I just got myself the HD518 and I'm loving em.
Just don't get anything with gaming in the product name its all shit and overpriced

If you really want a headset I heard good things about the Sennheiser PC-333D but it's expensive as shit so if you don't wanna waste money just go with headphones + a mic
