Anyone try it? I used to claw but now that i have the g400 it's really hard to do strong y axis movements but i feel like separating it won't really help or it will hinder my aim. (this is mostly for rocket jumping) i'm just not used to palm-grip style.

So did you ever try it or what? I know how to do it i just don't know if anyone advises against it.

alternatively, you can adjust your m_yaw setting to make your horizontal mouse sens faster/slower than vertical. seems easier than using 2 dpis

I believe clckwrk uses a low y-axis sens which is why he aims like a bus driver

so is there a formula for sens = m_yaw ? I want to make my sens higher but my horizontal sens the same, it's 4.5 in game right now 850 dpi
