imo the worst part of scheduling is that there seems to be an expected "6PM = 6:30" mindset and people seem reluctant to be hardasses about it.

At least you can search the SteamID, as Hooli said. But you can't do anything if a working dude knows he's going to hit traffic coming home like every other working dude, and still schedules the match without any wiggle room for his punctuality.

gg 25 minute wait just to roll. Waste of time.

Also, I hadn't looked at that in a while, but now it makes my artwiener kinda hard. (It lags a little for me when I scroll to the players at the bottom, but still.)

You guys aren't considering the fact that they group both coasts into central timezone and valve updates tf2 pretty much EVERY viable match night. This cause huge scheduling issues for some teams. So while it might suck to roll someone after waiting 20 min, at least you got to play and get your 3 rounds, instead of a ffw and just 2 rounds.

I do agree having your steam profile would probably be a good thing, there's times I wish i could just talk to the other captain but didn't have them on my list.

Unfortunately there often aren't servers available for the perfect time so people will schedule 30 minutes earlier than is ideal for them because its their only option. Obviously this isn't always the case but it happens more than it should have to

In that particular case, both teams had servers. But from what I've been reading the whole server thing is poopshoes as well.

I agree with the OP. While it is [sometimes] easy to find someones steam profile, it's not always as easy as you think. Several times I've had a hard time finding anyone on a team because they either have some stupid ass alias on esea, change their name on steam constantly, or their steam alias is very common. So it's not quite impossible to find people, but sometimes it's definitely a pain in the ass.

You're doing it wrong. You grab their steamid, not their steam username or alias, from their esea profile, under history, then you use steamidconverter.com, steamidfinder.com or google to find their profile. This will work every single time, with the exception that someone hasn't linked their esea profile to their steamid yet which you won't run into very often considering you need to link your steamid before you can join an esea server.

since everyone in this thread are esea players i was wondering if i could get an answer to my question i posted in a previous thread?

is it possible to change interp and interp ratio whie on esea client
or are there fixed values for each (cl_interp .0152 and cl_interp_ratio 1)?

afaik you can change interp on client as long as its within their "acceptable" values range, just cant do it while in a server and on a team anymore.

Well I guess that's the problem then; the people I couldn't find didn't have any steam info linked on their esea profile.

you can change it when you are dead now. so class interp configs work if you change class when you die

my question was more directed to esea and the esea client. i think in cs they force it to be .0152 in cs.
atleast from my exp in cs pugs

JOEso class interp configs work if you change class when you die

Actually this doesn't quite work. I always thought that every time you press comma, and click a class, that it executes that class.cfg. However, to adapt to this update, I tried putting cl_interp xxx in the beginning of each of my class cfgs. It appears that while you're dead, the game does not actually execute that class' cfg. It seems that it waits until the moment you exit respawn. I know this because I keep my net_graph on all the time, and switching classes doesn't change a thing.

What I now do is use two keys bound to the interp I want. One key is cl_interp 0, the other 0.033 - this way I can easily enter the interp I want while dead or in spec. It's still a pain in the ass though.
