Very true. I feel the same way for CTF and PL but there are no good maps around. I might dig through tf2maps.net sometime and see what's around. I feel like the biggest problem is just that most maps are too big/long for 6v6. Even gpit seems a bit long for 6v6.

I wouldn't mind a return of KOTH_ashville or Standin, Koth_granary was pretty fun when I pugged on it, or even warmfront. If I were master of the universe we'd still be playing warmfront - especially if an upgraded version has been made.

Follower is a nonstarter because it's simply massive and suffers from the same problems as cp_ash. CP_Freight is fucking terrible because of the forward spawn placements. It's literally impossible to escape your own last unless you wipe the enemy team, retain uber and 4-5 players. Yukon could be interesting, but it's certainly not a favorite.

I always felt cp_ash would have been more successful if parts of each point (excluding last) had been lopped off, just cut everything by a third and make each point (besides last) a 2 door point with a secondary access (a la the window in snake, the "new" door on gran second).

no standin. the map is not fun to play as medic even the slightest. quick fix isn't viable on it at all. medics shouldn't have to suffer through playing it.

koth_ashville next season, please.

I personally think that koth is a GREAT format for the neutral to watch. It's straightforward, fun to play, and offers up a wide variety of attacking options (you can easily use snipers/spies/pyros/heavies on certain pushes). It gives us a little bit of everything - including a decent number of close matches.

Everyone that I ask seems to take really well to viaduct - so why not bring back koth_ashville?
