I found this on buzzfeed and I thought it would've been an interesting kids book to read in like grade 4-5ish. BTW, the book is free to download.

I wouldn't suggest this for 4-5th graders - mainly because they aren't acquainted with much, the language and ideas presented are a bit complex. Of course, a child who feels out of place may find it deeply reassuring, since kids have a way of assuming that whenever somebody doesn't like them it's the end of the world because they don't have any perspective. But a 14-18 year old could handle it quite well I'd think. I imagine it'll get some play in colleges as well since it provides a simple introduction to newer ideas about gender and how it differs from sex.
An interesting read, it also reminded me of my college days a bit since I ended up deeply involved in the LGBTq community in college since it's a pretty solid place for a Communist to be and a lot of the ideas presented in regards to gender were pretty alien to me.

I think this is kind of a lot for a young kid to process. The last thing a kid would want to have to learn about is the convoluted subject of gender issues when they're having a hard enough time trying to learn how to tie their shoes.
nice vocal minority propaganda, and for kids too. absolutely disgusting if you ask me
this is written in like end of high school to college level language. the words "problematize" and "self-referential" stood out immediately.
i dunno if i would ever willingly give this to someone. its really fucking wordy for half of each page being drawings. does a good job of being thorough though. not many pamphlets like this would even mention gq, let alone dedicate two pages to intersex people
