Send a friend invite to someone who probably has a full friends list, and has no idea who I am or what I'm trying to do, just to give them a simple message. Gee, I wonder why I hadn't tried that before. Oh wait, I did, and that's why I'm here now.

As a suggestion, chances are that the person you are trying to contact also has a Twitch.TV account, Twitter, Email, or other form of communication. If you happen to know what that is you can send them a PM or DM through those channels as well.

As a last ditch thing, and I have no idea how private your matter is, but you can just post something in the forum and it will probably get to them somehow since this community is relatively small.

It would be nice to have. Saves a few hours of having to add someone to steam and wait for their reply, in case of an emergency like you have to re-schedule a match at the last minute or something.
