this thread is getting terrible

A couple things come to mind:

- ESEA LAN s13 (Dallas); during the first time HRG and mix^ were matched up, I was sitting behind the players analyzing their play and then all of a sudden this CS player (who I later found to be Semphis, who used to be on Quantic, if you follow CS at all) starts yelling "WHO CAN YELL LOUDER THAN ME? I'M THE BEST, NO ONE CAN YELL LOUDER THAN ME" or some shit like that, so I did the obvious thing and yelled louder than him to "shut the fuck up". He sat back down. I'm really not a fan of obnoxious assholes.
- This season I finally won my first match (through actual playing). The season before my team went 2-14, two of those wins being forfeits.
- When enigma called me staff. :D

first of all you were getting straight up permakritzed against us who bunched up all the time and i played like absolute shit (because i'm bad) and you straight up waked into traps pretty much all the time

we just never had flanks covered that well or used ubers effectively also bunched up repeatedly and holy shit i was humiliated as fuck i'm so bad help

i'd have to say first time at ETS for sure, playing with dante, rick, tri and rline was a blast. winning the unofficial tourny, lots of chill people there, tons of booze, food and everything else in between. i always wanted to take a trip to canada, and all of that just for the sake of tf2 yeah that was definitely memorable. went to ets twice now, and i can say i'll definitely be there next year

Overtime on gpit defense, and all that remains is a scout vs medic. Our medic needs to needle down the scout to avoid them from moving on to push c.

insom cratered on his rollout in the first round and we didnt go to mid, electing instead to hold second. our flank got like 3 kills as soon as they tried to push in and this gave us the momentum to roll a team i didnt expect to beat at the time, especially against duwatna.

season 13 with playground tactics: i love these dudes more than any of the people i've played with and just getting to the finals was pretty exciting, even though we blew it. losing to the crunchy bunch so many times sucked, but destroying indust we trust during playoffs on granary felt good. pretty much all the playoff games were really fun.

I know this seems horrid, but it was actually my first hat. I remember it vividly. I was on badlands durring pregame playing scout (my main at the time), and I got killed coming back around the choke going from our 2nd to mid. Pretty sure I got swatted out of the sky by another scout.

Then it came. The hat. Mind you, this was in the days before trading, so your hat was the one you got. It was before the second round of hats was released as well, so only one hat per class. I happened, in the vast possibilities of hats, to get a Batters Helm for the Scout.

Still wear it to this day.

I was pugging a few days ago on koth_lakeside. The enemy combo runs towards the point with a fully charged kritz. I jump from their pillar and ambush the Medic (I'm playing Pyro) and I force his kritz. Not only that, for some reason he pops it on a Soldier that shoots a crit rocket at me. I airblast the Medic and not only did I airblast him, I reflected the crit rocket and killed him with it.

There's been other times when I have gotten sick reflects but that was probably the best thing yet.

I felt like I should respond to this thread, but there's really nothing I can pinpoint as the most special.

I've spent way too much time in this game, in various ways, and helped a lot of people. I've had a lot of nights where I laughed so hard I cried and a lot of nights where I was perversely proud of myself.

playing with blackbanjo/fats/bigthirst/hannah montana and the group. we weren't great, but we had a lot of fun. i still remember when the heavy sandvich update came out.. we were the first to use it in a match, ahaha.

Killing Harbleu with pistol on scout on Badlands middle @ ETS LAN, two middle rounds in a row while he was jumping in the air. (The second kill was from so far away, it was bullshit lolll)

Then, he shit on us so bad. Fear the harbleu rockets on LAN, they hurt.

Playing really well on I46, winning my IRL sniper medal and being awkward as fuck on kritzkast.

I was playing a pcw with a really old team, I was heavy on point and I jokingly asked some one to suicide to give me ammo.
The entire team including our medic with uber killbindings. I then proceed to killbind and we lose. It was amazing.

I was a shitty scout ringing for some silver highlander team and I ran crit a cola the whole time on process. Drank the crit a cola and killed a scout, soldier, and pyro. I was so shit, but I remember it so vividly.

on my old 6s team we were scrimming granary. we were pushing last uber v uber, and it was a stalemate. so we had one of our scouts sack to come up heavy. he went up lunchbox, and was going to push up top. we got a pick, and exchanged ubers. our heavy lagged out for like 10 seconds though, and we lost the push. he was the only one up, they didnt check upper, and he backcapped as a heavy. i lost my shit

I was trying out the newly changed liberty launcher in a pub, and got the first triple airshot of my life, and they guy lived. It was then that I knew, I would never use that weapon again.
