Alright I tried being helpful only to have a silver highlander player and a series of retards who have never seen the light of open play-offs tell me that my deductions are incorrect so here's an explanation with illustrations that will hopefully illuminate to even the densest tf.tv posters why the QF is busted.
If you aren't running quick fix to mid you're fucking retarded. No other medigun can aptly compete with a quick fix team at mid on any map because of the added mobility and durability of the medic. This isn't rock paper scissors, shut the fuck up with this analogy. You go to mid with the quick fix if you are seriously interested in competing with the other team or you hole up in yard and charge a kritz and try to make a play. Here's how the quick fix makes mid work.

Your full buff doesn't mean shit, you're getting spammed before you're out the door and your medic can't heal everyone as quickly as their med can.
The stalemates are because the quick fix is effectively a dry push into last. When's the last time you tried to dry push into a demo and a heavy? Probably fairly recently since I have to fucking explain this to you. QF does nothing to clear sticky traps (a big part of why no one ever dry pushes into a demoman), and heavies are fucking easy to play and do retarded damage so your QF uber is fucking meaningless pushing into last. However, you can't switch items on the fly when pushing last and sacrificing your pocket so he can switch to a banner means that when he respawns you're suddenly going to be fighting for second because the other team probably has an order of magnitude higher IQ than your single digit mouth-breather ass and pushed out when you sacrificed your pocket.

Alternatively, the other team probably also has no reason to push out because their QF (which is the best medigun to spawn with when you don't plan on getting uber charge) also isn't going to help them get through a choke-point covered in stickies.

You probably don't even get that joke, fuck you.

This explanation is MUCH better, maybe quick fix isn't better 24/7 as we are seeing in this Grand Final.

So what you are saying is that if fhe other team runs quick fix they cant push if you dont go to mid?

It's mostly a problem with Gullywash. The midfight mandates Quick Fix and then afterwards you have to deal with Gullywash chokes, which are some of the tightest in the game. There's no way to QF through an aggressive hold on those because of how easy it is to focus fire anyone who comes through (plus stickies).
I don't think we'll ever see that kind of stalemate happen on any other map. No other mid requires the Quick Fix the way Gullywash does except maybe Badlands. But Badlands has an open yard with a much more forgiving choke that can be pushed on damage dealt instead of straight ubers.
