rcon commands crash server

no matter what server i am in, if i change map using rcon(yes i am using the right password), the server crashes. this also happens with a few other commands that i can't remember. how do i fix this?

what command do you use to change the map? make sure you're using changelevel

Yea, it's common that the rcon map will crash the server. If you think it is a client issue try using an external program like hlsw. In most cases though it is a bad command that will cause the server to quit/restart.

This is a rudimentary question but are you using the changelevel or map command ?
