Hey guys,
I've had a lot of time to think about the best way to satisfy the 149 people that helped us get to i49, and while I can happily assume responsibility for the 5 other people in iM to guarantee that all of your perks will be distributed - it is incredibly difficult to contemplate coordinating a match-up between one of our players and a donator for each and every perk.
So here is how things are going to work:
I've registered the irc channel #thankyoui49 on irc.gamesurge.net, which we'll be using to facilitate all of our perk distributions. If everyone that donated could idle in this channel it would be amazing, as the way I intend to run this process (at least until its obvious we need to switch to more direct means for the last handful of people) is pretty straightforward. When one of us has some spare time we'll post in the irc with a simple message along the lines of:
"Hey, I have time to do X one hour packages," or "Signing weapons" etc.
The first X people that respond will get the spot, and after some pretty straightforward verification you'll get your perk and be crossed off the list.
Those of you with combined perks or the six one-hour packages - you won't have to receive everything at once, we can partially complete your perks to suit our + your availability. For the One Hour package I also don't expect you to list the 6 people that you want to receive the mentoring straight away - you can either let me know through pm/steam or preferably just post in the irc/pm through irc with who you want to receive a perk and then grab them into the channel.
I haven't set a time-limit on this process, purely because I think it's less effective if we rush the delivery of these to the point where we burn out/stop giving each person the attention owed/etc. We'll do our best to get these perks to you as fast as possible.

Secondary bump - If you don't know how to get on IRC, here's a simple guide to joining the channel:
1. go to http://www.mirc.com/get.html & download & install
2. open MIRC
3. Set up your nickname/etc in the "connect" tab

4. Go to the servers tab and select any gamesurge (or quakenet) server. It may sometimes screw up so you might have to change from EU/random/NA to the other and vice versa at times.

Sorry for major necro - I bumped the ozf thread about a week ago, and sent out an email to everyone that donated about a change up in the way that I'm trying to get through these, however I realise that a lot of people may have used a separate email account when donating, or just assumed that the email from igg was random spam!
Basically the irc idea flopped because people weren't joining the channel - so we're going to do this the hard way! If you donated PLEASE add me on steam (http://steamcommunity.com/id/aporia) and let me know which email address you used to donate! I'll check the spreadsheet and set you up with the appropriate person (or if its a signing I'll take the wep from you and sort it out for you). If you've decided that you don't want your perk for whatever reason feel free to add me for that too and tell me all about how its-not-you-its-me.
I made a commitment when we started this fundraiser, and I fully intend to get through everyone that adds me (hopefully before uni goes back in around 6 weeks!).

p.s - I posted this on ozf already, but if anyone that doesn't have peasant internet would like to help us record + upload our video guides similar to what Chaplain did for our attacking badlands vid please contact me :)
