airshots that make your butt hole tighten
demo smoothing, syncing music with frags, slow motion ,clean simple transitions between frags and finally the most important thing in a frag movie:
good and creative frags.

I love when there are little audio clips of casters, especially for lan's where you can hear the crowd.
I like to be able to hear the sound of the weapons, even if it's only low volume. sometimes the editors even sync it with the music a bit, which can be cool providing they don't go overboard with it.
I also (specific to tf2) like every now and again (like once per video) a clip of a scout hopping and spinning around the place or a solider jumping around with a load of motion blur and shit just to show how fast paced it is. (like you did with that clip of clockwork in the i46 documentary)

decapJust turn off the projectile crosshair and enable the hitscan one?
You might have misunderstood what I was asking, or I probably worded my concern poorly. I was saying that most people want a crosshair shown and though I can come up with reasons that would make the most sense, I've never really seen anyone explain why they prefer having it on.
One of the reasons I came up with was because I assume people like watching how scouts, snipers and other hitscan classes aim. I don't think that's the case with soldiers, demos , etc. as I honestly don't believe there's much worth studying when it comes down to how aiming with those classes works.
So I figured why not have them on for hitscan classes but off for projectile classes like what you asked in your post, but I had also brought up the idea of consistency.
tldr for this post and my last post - why do people always want a crosshair? is it for reasons i listed or for reasons i didn't?
