Yeah I realize but I think part of it has to do with my perspective. I dont know one person other than dellort who has actually gotten a strike... if smaller channels who dont monetize get strikes often then i apologize.

This is actually a pretty good step by YouTube, even if commenters will poke fun at using one of these tracks in a video it pretty much assures that the video won't get nailed later for using a song that gets moved into copyright-infringement territory.

Eh vimeo had this ages ago and way better (creative commons + paid options) this is just a few download links to the crappy music youtube offered to replace your soundtrack with.
