Idea for next MGE

I was thinking of making the next MGE tournament a who's who all star kind of thing. A much smaller, but more exciting to watch tournament. What do you guys think of this? Or should we just do another open invitation one?

Wasn't someone in the top 4 of this last tournament a relative no-name? Polar (I think was his name) did really well and he's only playing his first season of open.

I think unless you can convince ALL the top players to participate (not just b4nny and platinum, but TLR, Ruwin, clockwork, squid, etc), then it's better to just leave it open.

The best mge'ers aren't always even the ones who play 6's competitively. There are unknowns who just mge all day who rape. When Davey was in his prime I saw him beat TLR easily. And toilethumor I forgot about him. These guys never really got into 6's but they would be able to win vs the soldiers at least. Ruwin I think is a shoe in for scouts if he's practiced. Scout dm is weird though it's a little more unpredictable.

Next time I plan on organizing it with servers that suit the match up more.
