Welp another episode of arrogance and stupidity. Appreciate the video for entertainment purposes, as well as the time that goes into it. Stating "another episode" implies you have watched many. Why do you keep watching if it causes you to 'welp'?
And if you haven't noticed, you rep a foreign flag, so why mention "foreigners", as if americans are better. Did you watch i49? Oh wait, you were talking about "low open" players, because TF2 isn't about the community as a whole, it's only about Main/Invite/Prem.
idk i guess for a guy who still finds every vine he watches hilarious these are probably still pretty entertaining
theres no need to be defensive over them when pretty much everybody whos watched them over the years will say the clips in it have deteriorated in quality over the years
also i live on a spaceship thank you very much

Exaggerate and ad hominem much? How about addressing the fact that you continue to watch something you "welp" about. If a person recognizes how "bad" something has become over the years, and is moved by it so much that they need to comment to make it known how bad they think it is, why would that person continue to keep watching? Not to mention that you, along with all these "people" who claim it has deteriorated over the years, have not tried to make it "better" (by your[their]standards).
Where are your(or these other people who are also complaining)submitted clips? And if you did submit, why didn't you make it to the Top 10? I think that spaceship has gotten to your head. Too much empty space and not enough brain.

Sure, the fact he insulted you doesn't add to his argument and his original comment was so snide that it actually cracked me up. But how does the fact he may or may not have actively tried to improve the thing he's criticizing disqualify him from the right to criticize it? Under what obligation is he, or anyone, to try to help whom they criticize? Have you ever submitted a clip to them? Why does it even matter?
And besides, he has a point

mason has a perfectly valid point about a general decrease in impressiveness and skill (a wrangler clip in any context is not indicative of skill). You're saying that because he didn't submit a clip, he's not allowed to criticize a work. Shit I bet if he didn't watch the video and simply brought up that he felt the videos had been lacking since the last episode he watched (like you thought he should have done because everyone must behave exactly as you think they should), you'd tell him that he's not entitled to have an opinion because he didn't watch it.

My perspective is thus:
He can criticize all he likes. But he shouldn't have been such a dick about it.

As Aoshima already pointed out, anyone can criticize whatever they like. It's HOW you do it that separates being productive from unnecessary. I never stated that he isn't allowed to criticize the videos due to his lack of involvement to make it better. I simply asked him why he hasn't. This is one of the few things where the person who gives constructive criticism may actually directly change the outcome and see first hand results by getting involved, because that is what the Top 10 is about. It's about the community sending in clips and the editors work with what they have for our entertainment.
#8 was not just about "hey look at me I can jump to a point with my sentry gun". It was about having the awareness to make a quick-witted decision that won his team the round. I guarantee (before watching this video)a vast majority of people would NOT think to do that, including myself. Instead of looking at the Top 10 like an arrogant, condescending "higher level" player who can perform all Top 10 plays of ever month on a daily basis, lighten up and have some goddamn humility.

If he didn't watch the video because he felt the videos have been lacking "better" content, that is fine. But again, it depends on his tact in regards to his criticism. Not to mention that his original statement involved mentioning 'foreigners' and 'low level open' as if it's relevant to what the Top 10 is actually about.

That's like saying if you were a soldier in that position you wouldn't have the "quick-wit" to rocket jump on the point
I also don't understand how it's incredible gamesense/awareness to make the decision to cap a point

Comparing a soldier, who is constantly jumping with his rockets, to an engineer, who doesn't have the ability to jump at all (unless with Wrangler), is asinine. During a match, you are thinking about how to defend (constantly being wary of spies as an engineer), where things are, comms, etc... As I said before, I highly doubt you (nor anyone else) would have made the decision to Wrangler jump to the point, rather than continue to build his sentry/dispenser/etc...

extv probably does not receive any high-level clips anymore

i think this is the reason why enigma limited clips to invite on the tftv top 10 and has a clip finder/searcher guy?

This must be a shock to you, but yes, I am aware of wrangle jumping, as well as being able to jump on that point. If I knew that what with like 15 hours on engineer, what kind of engi main wouldn't know that trick, along with scrimming with 8 other people who could have told him that trick at any time? It's not as innovative as you think. It's common sense.

submit your clips is the answer.

still a chance to accept September Top 10 Demos (League/Tourney play) if you submit within the next few days.
