Hello so I'm looking for a new tf2 cfg and i want to remove the view model from my medigun only and nothing else so i have done that but when i go to heal someone it will just come up as a circle around them Picture Here: http://i.imgur.com/gzEww51.jpg
What i want to be there is the line which would normally be there with the medi gun any help would be nice!
Thanks

r_drawviewmodel 0
viewmodel_fov 70
r_drawviewmodel 0
would help if you posted your current medic cfg to give people more information about your problem.
but you could try:
bind 1 "slot1; r_drawviewmodel 0; viewmodel_fov 90"
bind 2 "slot2; r_drawviewmodel 0; viewmodel_fov 90"
bind 3 "slot3; r_drawviewmodel 1; viewmodel_fov 90"
this will make that only your melee weapon will have model enabled.

You want to toggle r_drawviewmodel with your binds rather than toggling viewmodel_fov. With the fov at 0 there's no heal beam whereas when it's higher but r_drawviewmodel is off you have no viewmodel but still have a healbeam.

This is correct, however I think most people use the viewmodel_fov value of -360, since I've heard weapon particle effects/bullet tracers are glitchy with any other value

I used to use this script for medic. I use viewmodel_fov 0 for medic today, cos the heal beam is bloody annoying. Also I'd recommend you to use: bind "key" "toggle r_drawviewmodel 0 1" Enjoy. :)

P0werGuid0would help if you posted your current medic cfg to give people more information about your problem.
but you could try:
bind 1 "slot1; r_drawviewmodel 0; viewmodel_fov 90"
bind 2 "slot2; r_drawviewmodel 0; viewmodel_fov 90"
bind 3 "slot3; r_drawviewmodel 1; viewmodel_fov 90"
this will make that only your melee weapon will have model enabled.
Ty for both of you it worked :D
