why does everybody like playing on skial actually? i mean i'd imagine they like to shit on bad players but since every good player goes to skial to shit on bad players then the good players just end up bashing heads.

They're really hard to get banned from, there's no donator benefits, and they run on decent servers. I'm banned from almost every other TF2 community on my main so it's a choice between that and Nightteam and Lotusclan.

skial badwater is fun to play on because of the diverse quality of player as well as the liveliness of the players and their conversations.

I wish I advertised my badwater / upward more. It's hosted by NFO and doesn't have any dumb ads. The only thing I'm really experimenting with is rtd, but otherwise the only issue I have with the server is that it's always empty (because I hate bots and fake player counts) :<

i play on the 24/7 la badwater when i pub because there's actually a good amount of competitive players
that and that one 24/7 harvest are the only maps with decent people in them

it's because the server quality is super shitty so you're lucky if you stay around 20 choke

You can literally just spend hours on those skial badwater servers. I consistently see guys with >200, >300 points on the server. They don't stop there either.

This seems to be a common trend with a lot of comp tf2 players, but like, when I started playing tf2, I started right away in the competitive environment, so I had no pubber-incubation period.(it makes me think of that line Bane says from the Dark Knight Rises) For me, I join a pub, shit on the terrible players or trade frags with good ones and get bored after 15 minutes or so, and just want a comp tf2 experience instead.
