The live stream list is awesome with being able to see all of the streams, titles, and viewers all at once. The comments could be improved though. Stream chat is a big part of the experience for some people and with it at the bottom you cannot see the latest or type without scrolling down(depending on monitor size). I watch the streams at twitch because of this and could drive other traffic away from the site too.

Comments are just a guestbook thing and I honestly think it's fine, but having a 2nd layout for streams could be possible. Like the current expand feature but instead move the player to the left and then put chat in a space equal to the sidebars to the right.

so far so good, i really like the current layout. really enjoyable to watch streams, have live chat just below it and the forum based comments are really nifty.

This is what I do; Expand the stream, popout the chat, and place it beside the window with the stream. You have to not have the window full screened or a second monitor.
