London, if you/Owl can't do them I don't mind posting my 2 cents on the results for week 1 of playoffs. Only problem is that I probably won't be able to explain how they play as well as you/Owl.

From what I know, London will send me his writeups and I can post them as a TFTV article. I'll check back with him on that.

not a lot of surprises in the playoffs thus far

literally none if seeds are to indicate performance

Might see some 'upsets' in the upcoming games, though.

Meat > Flash 5-1

Bud > QF 5-3

gucci > UP 5-3

MG > Yomies 5-3

LH > Throws 5-2

AG > Remains 5-4

most of these scores will probably be off teams wont get to 5 on metalworks but whatever.

There were some really close games though like QF vs Mesr's team, LH vs FS and GoT vs oh boy open again

oh yeah, there were some good games. I include in my surprises the sheer fight that Mesquad and the fact that OBOA tried at least partially and took it to OT

meh i'm bored so i'll throw in my 2 cents. Bunch of great matches this week, really enjoyed being able to watch a few of them.

I really think the meat/flash game will be close...everyone seems to underestimate FS. Whether or not the medic/scout roster switch on meat was temporary or perm, could play a factor here. Though i don't see MM losing, i wouldn't necessarily be surprised if there was an upset here. Flash has been playing great all season, and even better in playoffs.

Our match vs buds could go either way, depending on how they play their roster and how/if we adapter to their sniper. If they keep sean on scout there really should be no reason that they don't make it to the upper bracket finals. tick hopefully has his internet issues fixed by Tuesday because if we have to have spadez or pt play we might as well just stay in respawn and have a pizza party.

mesr's team is insane, they should win pretty convincingly as UP seems to be struggling more than the normal season. Doesn't help that they've had to swap their roster around a bit at the end of the season into playoffs. gucci's are my pic for dark horse in the LB - i have a feeling they may have a big upset on a top seed.

Game of throws is a solid team, but even if smile plays out of his mind, i dont' think they'll contain the romeo/gluck combo...they have just been on fire lately. If the Lonely Heart heavy classes can just play a little more coordinated they could be a top contender in getting to LB finals.

MG played really well against Meat despite the loss, but i think the heavy classes on Yomies have the power to stop MG's scouts. Hugh may have some opportunities to abuse the sight lines as sniper on this map and make some key last defense/push picks. Overall i think panda/manly's dmg will just be too much to overcome, so i'm gonna pick yomies here.

AG had a dominating performance against GoT, then felt the wrath of the best bud lineup. Still impressively, they had several pushes to bud's last..they just couldn't get the caps though and fell apart defensively. Pin/ Al vs snark/scarecrow should be interesting to watch. However AG's heavier classes have the edge in my opinion. Going with AG here.

I've been having pretty severe internet problems. I'd love to play, but as it stands, I'm a liability if I try to play with 400 ping. Hopefully I'll be able to remedy my internet but if not, yeeegz is a capable medic and kost is the best backup scout any team could ask for, so I wouldn't think it hurts the team as much as it could have.

Panda isn't playing anymore. I moved to pocket and fac will be roaming for the rest of playoffs.
