I have this too and need to rely on other people to message me or tell me in mumble. They say the heavy screams very loudly in their ears. I'm assuming this is a known problem and it's still in beta so...

TF2Center is currently in the first Release Canidate, so the development team is in bug squashing mode. Best way to get these addressed in by going to the TF2Center forums, found at http://forums.tf2center.com/ so they can see, put it on their task list, and possibly help you solve the issue from your end and provide a place where others can see the solution.

I encountered the same issue intermittently with the same browser session.
In summary; issue is server side, not client.
#10 is correct, just report it.
