So I rediscovered anime on Tuesday and watched every single episode of attack on Titan in 2 sittings. I thought it was pretty good and I loved the mystery around the titans, but it was the first anime I've watched in years so I don't really have much to compare it to. What do you guys think I should watch next? I also really liked cowboy bebop so something similar to that would be nice too. I would prefer something with a continuous story rather than each episode being it's own little thing for the most part like cowboy bebop. If it's something I can watch on Netflix, Amazon video, iTunes, or whatever the fuck is out nowadays that would be pretty sweet. Thanks guys xoxo
If you're into action the animes you could try starting on Kill la Kill, its coming to an end but it's really good.

Full metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. A lot of episodes and great story.
Also Samurai Champloo if you haven't already watched it. Same creator as Cowboy Bebop.

I find it better to find out about animes that you might like on your own by reading their premises or whatever on MAL or Wikipedia. Then you'll find ones that are much suited to your taste or discover that you actually don't really like anime as a medium of storytelling. It's all subjective because animes themselves can be really idiosyncratic and too quirky for newcomers. That's why they're such a controversy.
Edit: Forgot about recommendations. Go watch Nichijou if you want to die of laughter.

I can never do this because quite often I'll think a show sounds super boring because of their synopsis. A la:
Steins;Gate is set in the summer of 2010, approximately one year after the events that took place in Chaos;Head, in Akihabara.
Steins;Gate is about a group of friends who have customized their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN, who has been doing their own research on time travel, tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them.
time travel microwave
that actually sounds really dumb, but its incredible.
Watch Steins;gate
for real.
absolutely incredible.
also i feel like nichijou wouldn't really be a show he'd enjoy from what he was saying in the op...
