If you have the patience, One Piece. It's very long but is amazing to me. For some animes with an an ending: Durarara! and High School of the Dead. Also Death Note is very interesting.

black lagoon was horrible kev give me back those 4 fucking hours
While you're checking out a new show, give it at least 3-4 episodes (about 90 minutes) of your time before you decide if you like it. Other than that, most people here have given you a good starting point. I'd also recommend welcome to the nhk. Also check out this link, it may give you some ideas.

Well, okay. I'll be fair. If you're not into super generic shit then it's probably not for you. If you don't care or, I guess, are into it, then go for it.

I'm only a few episodes in. I'm not seeing what's wrong with it other than possibly the fact that it's basically starting off the same way E7 did.

i mean i thought he was shootin for y'know
anime
but but, honestly american animation is just as good
except for fucking family guy, are you kidding me, what
lets start a list like this, you had some decent ones, and this list is about GOOD and VISUALLY appealing ANIMATION. humor may be involved, but what we are focusing on is eye candy
Super Jail (if you like batshit crazy cell animation, this is for you)
King Star King (the pilot, however a full season is on its way. this is from the genius mind of JJ Villard, he also pitched some other amazing shows and is responsible for an amazing short called, Son of Satan)
The Marvelous Adventures of Flap Jack (from the mind of Thurop Van Orman, hes also working on a full length claymation and is also working on Adventure Time and Regular Show)
Samurai Jack (from the creators of Dexter's Lab, all the more reason to watch)
Ed Edd and Eddy (fucking super funny, they use the squiggly line animation to make things seem more life like, similar to what Home Movies did in the first season. Aside from the animation, the sound design is by far the fucking best I've ever seen in a cartoon.)
Ren and Stimpy (pretty much grew up on it, the shit is bonkers however I'd advise staying away from the "adult" version, its garbage.)
Mission Hill (good, smart humor. the cell animation is traditionally inked and the color pallets is extremely eye catching. probably one of my favorites that I caught on Adult Swim, its too bad to be canceled)
i'll add more, but i wanna do stuff and not type right now

ya, but
second (or is it considered the first? not sure how that works) iteration of
yuno is a piece of shit. from beginning until the end. as far as yukki goes, i don't understand why they wrote him the way they did. it seriously annoyed me how he
went from "ahhh no i have to get away from her" to "omg i totally love this psychotic woman" back to "ahh no i have to get away from her" back to "omg i totally love this psychotic woman" then to "ur a cunt fuck urself" back to "omg i totally love this psychotic woman". why not build him to get progressively smarter and braver in a way that still works with the end story? maybe because it would be "generic" but whatever.
Deathnote, I'm not even an anime fan but i freaking love Deathnote.
