Even though it is nice to see you back it would be appropriate if you would credit feeling_blue more, looking over the files it seems like some/most/many things are just blatantly copy pasted.
Expected you to publish it on April 1st again (see last year)

I think there should be a way to have more control over which font you use. If you select to use the oldschool font it's only going to replace the health and ammo. damage numbers and all that are still in the new font.
( I know you can just replace all the font definitions but wheres the fun in that )

The space allocation around the baseline differs on the new font (cp. "descenders"), therefore it would look totally stupid if it was simply switched out in every place. I had to change vertical positions on a lot of elements when I implemented the new font - only due to the health and ammo not being relative to anything but the viewport itself, it's possible to switch to a different baseline system without much visual difference/inconsistency (maybe I'll add the damage numbers too, as they're also not relative to anything).
That's the last time I'm gonna explain this, stop bugging me about it everyone, please. If you want a version with unproportional numerals everywhere, you'll have to adjust all the necessary elements yourself.

I understand. I myself have only swapped it out for some elements (damage numbers). sorry if it sounded like I was complaining. I do realize that you get alot of dumb questions and appreciate your patience.

I did this in all of 3 minutes within downloading the HUD, so I would say it is fairly easy if you know what you are doing. Rename Surface-HP-And-Ammo_OLDSCHOOL.otf to Surface-HP-And-Ammo.otf. Then, in Clientscheme, ctrl+H and replace SurfaceSharpened-Medium with Surface-Medium. Only two things I had to change was the ypos of the spectator health on the target ID's and the time panel value. Just decreased them all by 1. I realize you already know this, but hopefully this is helpful to others that may not know.

I literally posted the exact instructions on how to do it. You all can just as easily re-create it as I can.

Does anyone know how to flash crosshairs on hit for this hud? I tried the method I use for example in rayshud and it doesn't work, probably due to the way the the event Damagedplayer thing is set up by default, might also be with the crosshair names...

How can I fully disable the transparency on the health cross? I find it really distracting.

Go into resource/ui/hudplayerhealth.res, find "PlayerStatusHealthImageBG" and edit the image value to "../hud/health_bg".

Thanks feeling_blue and broesel.
I have one question: Is there a way to make the expanding overheal cross(not just the numbers) green instead of white, just like the low health cross is red? Thank you in advance.

Hey broesel, thanks for all the work you do for the hud. Quick question: there used to be an option in the hud installer (pre-steampipe) where you could have the ubercharge bar toggle between two colors when your ubercharge was full. Would you mind telling me where I could look to edit that manually?

Uhhhhh... there seems to be a problem now. You need to fix this glitch. Well, due to the Love and War update, the taunt menu is glitched and only a small portion of it shows at the top left hand corner of the screen.

Just use feeling blue's version of broeselhud for the time being/from now on. Its usually a while for the original version to be updated.

The eureka effect has the same problem.
Seconding using blue's version in the meantime, he does good work.
