tr aim and tr walkway is annoying.
play scout might help
play all the classes to learn how they work
keep playing sniper no matter what
try for headshots every time
most important: have fun

with only 80 hours in the class you're not going to have amazing aim. gotta practice.
come back when you have 200 hours on sniper and we will let you in on the super secret setting that makes you hit all your shots.

Sniping in pubs is probably the best practice you'll get outside of doing it in match/scrim/lobbies. And yeah 80 hours is pretty low relative to some of the hours other people have put in so don't get discouraged.

afaik the tr_aim hitboxes are fine, not sure though

sniper is all about muscle memory, when i wanted to get good at that class all i did was practice in pubs and flick 100% of my shots to get alot of muscle memory, that's my advice.

Use banjo tooie crosshair it worked for me and I'm the worst sniper on the planet

Tracking is ultimately better in the long run and isn't nearly as sensitive to setup changes (mouse, sensitivity etc), especially if you go to a lan you will find your muscle memory is kind of fucked because the desk/chair doesn't facilitate the same conditions
Once your tracking gets very good then you can combine it with muscle memory and be unstoppable
