News from the other side of the world today, there's apparently been a roster change for Team Immunity that will have major implications for i52. iM demoman Bulk has been replaced by Termo in a move that has somewhat surprised the local community. iM have stated before that they would never play with Termo ever due to personality clashes, but in a small player pool they could still dominate without picking up the best demoman in Australia.
However it looks like Bulk has been given the KFC treatment now that a major international LAN is on the line, and Yuki and Termo have figured out a way to get past their differences for the time being. No one would argue that the team is weaker as a result; there are no Australian demomen anywhere near Termo . While he is not LAN proven, many do expect him to be an international caliber demo.
Termo has been substituting in on roamer while aporia has been on vacation, so the sub roamer spot is somewhat open while rumors report that former cc demoman Yewl filled in for them for scrims the other night. However, they seem to still be on the hunt, with Budda playing roamer for them as well.
In the Australian Prem Round Table discussion last night, iM Snowblind didn't have too much to say and was generally pretty diplomatic about the whole situation, but when asked if he thought the heal centric styles of Yuki and Termo might clash, he did have this to say:
"No not really, it's kind of the opposite, one thing that Yuki has said he's always wanted more from his demoman, is just leading more in some situations. One thing that I guess Bulk struggled a little bit was leading ubers and leading pushes in some situations, where as Termo on the other hand is really confident is really comfortable doing that. So I think as long as we iron out the situations where we want Yuki leading or Termo leading then it could be really strong for us. We're really confident in that, we just need to get as much practice as we can together as a team obviously and hopefully get a good bootcamp as well." - iM Snowblind
Whatever the case, if iM show up to LAN with Termo on their roster they will have something that they lacked last time: a really scary demoman. Combine that with their previous roster swap - Snowblind in for Antwa who quit when he moved to Canada - iM are looking to be a team that simply doesn't have any weak spots and are the best that Australia has to offer.
Correction: Bulk and Snowblind have both noted that the parting was a bit nicer than the article originally stated. That section has been removed.
