I recently saw the medi beam for viewmodel_fov 0, which works on sv_pure 2 and is as you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdi1uyaG6xU

I don't know if it helps performance though, but it looks like it could do

Its down to personal preference, but i personally like the heal beam because it makes it clearer who im healing. But if you like not having the beam its up to you really.

Its down to personal preference, but i personally like the heal beam because it makes it clearer who im healing. But if you like not having the beam its up to you really.

From my experience, viewmodel_fov 0 does help with preventing stutters/freezes when healing.

If you tend to lag/freeze whenever you heal someone (especially when they're really close), having viewmodel_fov 0 helps.

Actually, if you don't want ANY trail while healing, use r_drawviewmodel 0; viewmodel_fov 1
