I've Been playing TF2 for about 3-4 weeks now roughly 250 hrs played all split evenly through all classes although maybe Engi and Spy and quite alot more then the others, im looking to join a team im always free and im willing to be dedicated to getting better and taking advice so please if you would consider giving me a chance i'd be very grateful if it has any plus i did MLG for CoD on 360 for about 3 years. Hi, welcome. If you're thinking about playing engi or pyro competitively, you might wanna consider 9v9 highlander. Otherwise if you plan on playing 6v6 you might wanna switch your main to either scout/soldier/demo/medic.

You're going to need to play more if you want to be on a team. Also, you mentioned you play a lot of Engie and Spy; if you are looking to main these classes, then you'll have to play Highlander, and this isn't really the place to look for that. Try http://ugcleague.com/.
For the record, playing comp CoD, especially on the 360, is not good experience for TF2. Completely different games and input systems.
You could request a mentor in the Mentoring forum on this site if you want to get better.

You can try tf2lobby.com which is a newer players pug site and yeah, play some newbie mixes on friday and saturday nights, they're good for experience. Also make sure you have mumble downloaded which is really important.
