Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you my latest project – http://hudcreator.co.uk
As you may have guessed from the title it is online hud creation tool.
hudcreator.co.uk is a very basic tool that lets you change size, position, color and font of all basic hud elements (health, ammo, etc), as well as edit Scoreboard, Winpanel, Team menu and Class selection screen elements.
It is fairly easy to use, so I hope there’s no need in any kind of tutorials.
Nevertheless there are few things worth mentioning before you start working with a website:
- For website to work properly you will need to have localStorage enabled.
- HUD made for specific aspect ratio will only work on screens with that aspect ratio. So, for example, if you made HUD for 640×480 screen resolution, it will work fine on any resolution with 4:3 aspect ration, but will break with 16:10 or 16:9.
- Reset button will return everything to default state.
- You can upload your custom fonts into the system. Font will be available only until you press the Reset button.
- Removing element from canvas makes it invisible.
- Special built-in function will auto-save your current progress (canvas) every 20 seconds in localStorage.
- Positions of some elements might be a little bit off (few pixels) – thanks to the wonderful people working at Valve and also to the cross-browser stuff.
- MvM will NOT be supported! At least for the time being.
Website was tested on latest versions of all major browsers – Firefox 31.0, Opera 23.0, Chrome 36.0 and worked as it should, but in case it doesn’t – leave a comment here and I will see what I can do.

I know i should just change the font sizes but quite frankly im too lazy and the ammo didn't use the correct font.

if you go to the health number there is a "high health color" and "low health color" option

That's not possible, and unless Valve changes the way their HUD is coded, it won't ever be possible (unless someone can potentially make some sort of workaround via HudAnimations_tf.txt). There is a section of code in HudPlayerHealth.res (the file that controls the health values) that is labeled as:
"HealthDeathWarning" "0.49"
Which I assume is the percentage of health a player has to be lower than to be considered in "low health", but upon changing the value nothing changes; which makes me think it's another one of those pieces of code Valve added in when they were making their own HUD, but don't allow its value to be changed.
As for ammo, there's not even a section of code that dictates when you're low on ammo, so again, unless someone can think of some crazy type of workaround in HudAnimations_tf.txt, I don't see that being changed either.

hopefully this can be fixed quickly because according to q-ball:
