Also check out Deltron 3030, it's a (now huge) side project of Hieroglyphics, also Souls of Mischief (also a side project). If you ever get a chance to see any of them live, I can vouch for them being incredible.

I enjoy listing to some Mr.Lif or gang star. 90's rap or just underground hip hop is what I really like. Also Vinnie Paz and so on are pretty good if you like somewhat hardcore underground rap. Honestly my list for hip hop goes pretty far and I don't feel like like listing most of them.
