Im pretty sure these are meant for people who are not very good at jumping and dont like to do it, so they probably go over exact sticky placements and strafes, so you dont have to figure all that out for yourself.

watching the fastest rollout doesn't tell you how to do specific things, like the air pogo rollout on process. I would need someone to talk and explain how to do it, instead of watching a video

most of the videos I see on how to do the rollouts "correctly" are just plain wrong or show jumps that are done incorrectly/inefficiently.
kaidus' rollout tutorials were a fantastic resource since he not only showed you how to do the jumps correctly in detail but also added in a few advanced moves (crouch sticky jumps for eg) to show you how could do them even faster.

I don't have a local recording but I intend to redo this series in a way that makes it fit for youtube. For most of them that just means downloading and editing, but for #3 I always planned to redo it as I wasn't really satisfied with it.
Crouch det is now officially advanced sticky jumpin'

Why are you such an ass? Like does this improve your day somehow? Holy shit never seen someone so salty about a player helping out people.

Why would I be mad he helps people with rollouts, I never said it was bad, I am just saying it is pretty unnecessary for him to invest time in if people could just youtube "Fast process rollout" You can even put kaidus behind the search term.
Also ego wise, I'm a pretty shit jumper, and not even an average pocket (about div4/3 maybe).

no one is as good at rolling out as kaidus so it's 100x better for someone to have a video of him doing it instead of some random youtuber lol

i personally can do that now yeah, but if you asked me a year ago to do a fast process rollout you wouldn't see me watching a video and then grinding it until it works out. this is a resource for people that are new to the mechanics/ people that want to refine their game. it's great that you don't need the rollout workshop videos, but that doesn't mean you need to belittle the people that do need it. you're being a huge dick for literally no reason dude.

These are useful for the same reason that I have watched Stefan's demos repeatedly in slow motion and am still not able to move like him.

It may be hard to understand as someone with as much jumping experience as you stone, but as someone who is fairly new to it they were way more useful than just watching a run through of the roll out.
Crouch dets aren't exactly an "advanced sticky jumping technique" but the workshop vids were the first time I was ever told not to jump. Hell, the workshop vids are where I learned they are even called crouch dets. When watching the the simple rollout videos I never understood how a demo could get so much horizontal speed with so little vertical movement. It can be easy to forget that people don't know things when they have been so obvious to you for so long. That is just one example of something the workshop vids did right.
Now, don't get me wrong you still have to practice, I've put an embarrassing number or hours into just listening to music/a podcast and practicing rollouts, but the workshop vids are an amazing starting block. Thank you kaidus, thanks to you I can rage at demos that are WAAAAAAAYYYYY better than me that they are slow to mid.

The thing about kaidus videos, is not only he is one of the top european demos, but he's widely recognized as the one with the fastest rollouts, if that wasn't enought, Kaidus rollout workshops are not a simply jump guide, he talks about first sticky placement when you get at mid, he talks about interacting with the rest of your team depending on the rollout you take and also how to react to the enemy team mid strategies, it's much more than a "rollout video".
And it's a shame its lost forever now which is why I posted here since I noticed when I was updating the comp.tf rollout page. And the more resources the better obviously, you can never have too much of learning tools

Rofl, you're a div 5 roamer at best - maybe a better demo. And all I've ever seen you doing is jump maps; so don't try to be modest, we can all see that you're not.

I can't roam at all, and you've never played with me in maybe 3/4 months? I am doing good low div3 high div4, but apperently you know more than me.
edit;
In fact I haven't played with you since I started jumping, which was in march.

It's like it's been scripted from an ETF2L recruitment thread.
