Masturbate then dm if I have extra time.
Honestly, I think my ability to play scout improves when I practice surfing, my soldier and demo and sniper aim get better when I warm up with jump maps. Maybe it has something to do with mouse movement, since when I surf I slow down my mouse movement for optimal strafing, which is good for tracking as scout.
Rocket jumping gets me comfortable with flicking my mouse quickly, which helps me aim with those projectile classes/aiming as sniper

tri_edit: shrugger brought up a really cool way to practice, if it existed. What if you could load up a pov demo and "take over" from a certain tick, so you just play a certain fight out over and over and see if you can hit all your shots or how you can play it differently. I think that'd be really cool but idk if it's possible with the source engine
technical limitations aside, this is pretty much impossible given that if you play a fight differently then your opponents are going to react to your play and themselves play differently, not really something you can replicate even with AI (in terms of high level play anyway). it's kind of a neat idea but ultimately would be impossible to replicate as something that would be a useful/realistic tool
by watching pov demos you can already determine better ways on how to play out a fight/situation anyway... imo you should always just focus on the best way to play each fight/situation rather than worry about hitting all your shots

I play tf2centre lobbies a lot and play tr_rocket_shooting2/tr_newbots/tr_arena_rc1 and mge against teammates
I main med so most of this is useless except to keep me focused, really
sleep for 30 minutes before scrims/matches

played dm and mge nonstop for years then took a month break from tf2. came back and my dm was so much better, my aim got way more comfortable, smooth and confident. I can't mge or dm as scout anymore because I feel myself getting worse. I usually practice and warmup in walkway tracking bots from the launchpad for hours.
Although somewhat controversial, I think that mge is one of the best ways to improve your dm. I mge very frequently along with jump, and 32 insta-respawn servers.
When I feel like it and or don't have any assignments due, I hop onto the directs map from mge, spawn a bot that dodges and can semi-airstrafe, and just practice juggling it, using MightyMe's method.
I also do the beachball thing when I'm bored, as well.
I've been trying the WARHURYEAH 'spawn a bot, make it stand still, and jump around it while keeping track of it' thing, too, but that's more boring to me than the other two.

To get warmed up I play the game any way I am having fun with, weather mgeing a teammate, dming or pubbing. Practicing on the other hand, if I have nothing to do and I'm not burnt out for the day I'll just mge or dm for no more than 3 hours. However, lately I've been mostly scrimming and playing matches, I feel this has increased my gamesense but indisputably I still make rookie mistakes. On the weekend given I'm not tryharding a surf map I'll pugna but seldom do I tf2mix.
tr_newbots (only for scout v scout, its pretty worthless for everything else)
dm/mge (pretty much only if theres someone either the same or better in skill than me)
this might sound weird but my aim has gotten a lot better since i started playing Street Fighter???? idk how to explain, might just be because i dont force myself to play tf2

tr_newbots with this config for dm, tr_aim for just practicing aim. I generally play Scout and Engineer exclusively these days so I don't have much need to practice rocket jumping or surfing or whatever. I'm also bad at the game.
I usually play MGE for a hour. Then some pugs. Between pugs more MGE.
