So its going to be difficult to keep up with all of the rounds until there are more matches played. Four teams have been eliminated (RIP Off Top, Pinoy Boys, Luca Goers, and Not Up to Var) and this week, more teams will join their ranks in the Loser's Lodge to watch the rest of the post season unfold. One UR2 match is still to be played on Tuesday which will delay another game in LR2 which will have to be played immediately on that Wednesday, followed by the next LR match on that Thursday or Sunday. Whoever ends up being in all three of those games is going to be stressed out, to be sure. I was a little surprised at a lot of the results, but happy to see most of the teams I predict to be in the top 4 still in the upper bracket. Without further ado, here are the preds for this week.

Sparkle Bunnies have had a bumpy start to playoffs, dropping 3 rounds to American Jerks and 2 rounds to Not Up to Var. Kawaii 5-o had a decent back and forth against airheads on granary, dropping 3 rounds to them as well. For both of these teams, this is the first (presumably) round of playoffs where the outcome is a big question mark, as it certainly is for me. Kawaii 5-o has been settling into their roles pretty solidly, letting Seymour swing the big dick and make some plays alongside Caidh putting up some big damage during pushes. Sparkle Bunnies have dropped Bunny in favor of Blacky, and its only made them stronger in my opinion. Both teams have to be familiar with the main threats on each roster, and on gullywash I predict Blew will surprise everyone with his demo play, as he has often been overlooked in the shadow of Hero and the Sparkle Scouts. I predict in favor of Sparkle Bunnies 5-4.
EDIT: Hero and Blew will be switching roles, but my prediction still stands.

Airheads have been knocked down to the lower bracket, and they are in it for the long haul. With rumors that Airrrr may not be able to play for the duration of the season, this just might be the last time this team plays this season, as it doesn't look like the team will stay together next season in its current form. Hii Open (formerly “some explosions in sky”) are coming off a big win over Off Top, knocking them out of playoffs in a blowout match on granary last week. We'll see if they've got what it takes to put another team out of the running later on this week, and if Airheads aren't able to put Airrrr in the game, I think its very likely that Hii Open will progress. 5-2 in favor of Hii Open.

Please note: this game will not be played on gullywash but rather on granary as it is the last of the UR2 matches to be played. I gotta give it up to No Johns for their huge comeback win against Off Top, it was a great game to watch. I was most impressed with the raw DM on the team, especially that of their combo classes. Despite all that, I don't think they'll be able to walk away with a win here against Mad Luxurious, who is looking nigh unstoppable lately. Hopefully the game will still be close but hey, its Dingo on gullywash so good luck, No Johns. If No Johns goes to the lower bracket, theres a very good chance that they'll have to play 3 matches this week so best of luck to them if that ends up being the case. 5-1 in favor of Mad Luxurious.

American Jerks have done pretty okay this post season, giving Sparkle Bunnies a decent game on granary and beating ddddddddddddddddd, albeit the d's had some roster issues last minute that contributed to the loss. They'll be playing Champagne and Cocaine, who had an upset victory of their own against Luca Goers on granary last week in a handy 5-2 victory, Muma going pretty gigantic with a whole lotta kills and top damaging anyone in the server. This match should be pretty close to be honest, although I've been pretty impressed with the tenacity of American Jerks so far. On a hunch I feel like American Jerks will prove to be the better team here, mostly because of the sheer fact they have more play-makers on the team than Champagne and Cocaine. 5-3 in favor of American Jerks.

dddddddddddddddddddddddddddd has had a weird post season, suffering a loss with circumstances outside of their control, and then coming back true to form and taking an easy win over Not Up to Var. Hungry Hungry Ogres had a decent start by giving Luca Goers their first loss, and then proceeded to get stomped by Graveguns Aneurysm 5-0 in a very unexciting match to be honest. Hungry Hungry Ogres are the underdogs here, but I believe the team has the potential to upset just about anyone currently in the lower bracket. Rigel and Punisher are both great soldiers, and should give the d's a relatively close game. Mr. Gibson is going to go pretty ham on this map, and Magus is going to bring a lot of hurt on mids. Everyone on the Ogre's is going to have to be up to speed for this match or I don't see a win in the cards. 5-4 in favor of dddddddddddddddddd. Shoutout to my favorite Ramones' song.
