Really really REALLY can't wait to get off work today.
Yes it's finally working. Either my first run was pretty lucky or all items are now amazing.
Holy shit
is such a cool boss.
2nd run got brimstone + ludovico technique, it was amazing.
Between this game launching and grand finals being tonight my body can't contain the hype. Can't wait to watch bisnap and northernlion play it too.
I'm really digging the new mom's heart projectile patterns. The game also feels amazing running at a steady framerate. How far has everyone gotten so far?
So far I killed mom, mom's heart and satan, and unlocked a handful of characters. I'm taking a break to actually get some work done.
So Binding of Isaac was probably one of my only real addictions apart from tf2, last time I played it was back in 2011 but even now, its still like my 4th most played game on steam, I really loved the game back then
I never knew there was a sequel in the works, so is this new one any good? Or just a rehash of the old one?

Rebirth is a remake of the original along with a metric ass load of new content. Basically make the old binding of Isaac better, and than add a dlc as big if not bigger than wrath of the lamb on top of that. It's great and worth the money even if you just played the original casually.

it's the same game with more items/enemies/characters done in an homage in terms of art style to 32-bit adventure style games (2d legend of zelda)
they moved it off of flash so the memory leak problem is not here (as far as i could tell)
there's different lighting and music and sound effects, and everything was redrawn to fit the new theme of the game
also there's built-in controller support
i'm enjoying it so far, and i'm planning on getting 100% achievements in this game too

its really fun it takes some time getting used to the mechanics i'm playing piss poor compared to the wotl but it's definitely worth the buy.
