Does anyone know what does the hidef and lodef do? I remove most of that since it doesn't seem to affect anything in my HUD but i'm curious of it's purpose.
would it be possible to edit the hud so that it always displayed your team's target id's even if you weren't mousing over them? it'd be pretty cool to be able to glance around and gather info on where your teammates were (kinda like QL's teammate arrow things)

I'm currently using notohud and I installed a custom background for the main menu instead of the grey one that comes with the up. But when I open the console it makes the background darker.
This doesn't happen with the standard TF2 hud. Anyone know what I have to change in the hud files to get rid of it?

Thanks. But that wasn't exactly what I meant, since I've already figured out how to get rid of that. It's the grey overlay that gets added when you open the console I want to get rid of.

Having trouble getting the server time limit to show in modes that are not CP (koth, pl, plr, etc).
