Just because the scout is somewhat weak against soldier in the 1v1 department (which is debatable in itself), doesn't mean that the class is a joke. It's almost like different classes have different roles. Lets be honest, none of the classes in tf2 are hard to play at this point. Scout is arguably the easiest.

I don't understand why people hate me. Just because of my opinion on soldier? Ggglygy thinks the same thing... I realize he is better than me but still. I am improving as a scout but I'm still not that good. I have been playing for a long time and just want to finally make it somewhere.

Ok I'm sorry. I still hate soldiers though. Like it's an easier as a DM class but scouts can still be better than soldiers such as yz50, clckwrk, ruwin, etc. But clckwrk for instance still thinks soldier is ez and hates the class. How is my attitude shitty? Because I think soldier is a joke class? I am improving as a scout but I still have a small problem that I have been working on. "overextending."

While ggglygy, clockwork and bloodsire are all much better than you, they are just as wrong as you about soldier balance.

Soldiers really aren't that hard to deal with as a scout. They may be harder to deal with on flat ground than like a mid with a bunch of rocks and hills or whatever, but even then it's not hard or dumb or whatever.

how do you die to a soldier as a scout

overextending as a scout may mean you take some damage, overextending as a soldier means you get things put into your butt and not always things you want
