This hit me like a ton of bricks this morning. Fuck cancer so hard
a legend forever.
loved his thing at the espys, sad to see him go
I looked up to this man so much. I'm not even American and did not experience his Sportscenter days, but as a fellow broadcaster and cancer survivor, he was a huge idol to me. I guess we knew it was coming.. still crushing, still heartbreaking. Way too soon. What a brave man. RIP.
really sad. I'll never forget him being a staple of ESPN ever since I turned on the channel for the first time. Also his Jimmy V acceptance speech at the ESPY's was something else. RIP
I was totally devastated when I found out this morning. I spent so many mornings watching this man, and he's always been such an awesome guy. This fucking sucks.
"When you die, it does not mean you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, & in the manner in which you live"
as someone who battled cancer their self, this quote broke me down into tears.
rip stuart scott
Cancer is a bitch, took my grandpa and now my grandma is struggling with it for a second year atm.
It did beat a lot of people who are not with us anymore, but there are many others even kids struggling with it and this community does hell out of job beating it with events like ToTH or Flares that Care which really is wonderful!
I grew up watching him and he was by far the best in his craft. What made him so enjoyable to watch was the fun he was having on air. Forever cooler than the other side of the pillow, rest in peace Stuart.
