Honestly, by that play I was worried that Seattle was going to score a touchdown and leave too much time on the clock. If they ran it in instantly and left ~26 on the clock, the Pats still had 2 timeouts. Given that Brady didn't have much difficulty marching down the field in most of his previous drives, it's very likely he could've gotten in FG range and tied it up.

Or at least that's what I repeat to myself in the mirror as a form of cognitive dissonance.

them even getting to the 1 was ridiculous, 2nd game in a row russel wilson threw a godawful pass (2 pt conversion in the gb game) and the gods looked down on him and said oh my, let's give this shitwagon a helping hand
